Everything but boring.
The Aquila unavoidably carries the genes of our MTB Cycletech grandfathers, the Apache and Papalagi. Our new gravel platform includes modern features with a well-designed and sporty geometry, a frame design that speaks for itself: clearly, cool and with an extra dose of independence.
The heart of Aquila is a high-quality, heat-treated aluminum frame with a sporty geometry. Clever details ensure high functionality and a long life. Custom-designed hydroformed tubing, a stiff CNC head tube as well as thru-axles round out the frame’s main features.
Full-Integrated cable routing
With the new head tube/stem unit, all cables on the Aquila are hidden from outside. From the handlebar to the rear derailleur to the brake calipers, they are clean routed inside of the frame and are nearly invisible.
Custom carbon fork
Our custom carbon fork is stiff, lightweight and has unbelievable reserves, ensuring that your front wheel remains on the ground even when riding off-road. Bags can also be mounted easily.
New interface standard
The Aquila offers the latest features: In addition to the T47 bottom bracket standard for a stiffer bearing with shaft up to 30 mm, it offers front and rear thru-axles as well as a 1.5″ oversized head tube.
Eyelets for every application
We have made sure that our Aquila platform has eyelets on the frame and fork where they are really needed, whether for a rack in daily commuting or bikepacking bags.
