Everything but boring.
The Aquila unavoidably carries the genes of our MTB Cycletech grandfathers, the Apache and Papalagi. Our new gravel platform thus includes modern features with a well-designed and sporty geometry in a frame design that speaks for itself clearly, coolly and with an extra dose of independence.
At the heart of the Aquila is a high-quality, heat-treated aluminum frame with sporty geometry. Clever details also ensure high functionality and a long life. Custom-designed hydroformed tubing, a stiff CNC head tube as well as thru-axles round out the frame’s features.
Integrated cable routing
With the new head tube/stem unit, all cables on the Aquila are hidden from view. From the handlebar to the rear derailleur to the brake calipers, they are cleanly routed inside of the frame and are nearly invisible.
Custom carbon frame
Our custom carbon frame is stiff, lightweight and has unbelievable reserves, ensuring that your front wheel remains on the ground even when riding off-road. Bags can also be mounted.
New interface standard
The Aquila offers the latest features: In addition to the T47 bottom bracket standard for a stiffer bearing with shaft up to 30 mm, it offers front and rear thru-axles as well as a 1.5″ oversized head tube.
Eyelets for every application
We have made sure that our Aquila has eyelets on the frame and fork where they are needed, whether for a rack in daily commuting or bikepacking bags.
